We are living in the wake of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, where technology has become an untamable force, transforming, evolving, and sweeping everything in its path. From the production machines to the explosion of artistic expression, automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence are radically reshaping how we exist, create, and work.
Yet, amidst this whirlwind of change, we must remember: technology is merely a tool—neutral, impersonal, without inherent direction. Its power lies not in the technology itself but in its ownership and how we choose to wield it. It is in this delicate balance that the consequences shaping our lives are determined. And yet, this crucial dialogue seems to be missing from public discourse, from the political conversations that are shaping our future.
Exhibition Event
The words collected from the OPEN CALL_IN THE ERA OF AI will take shape in a 3D sculptural installation by Danae Stratou titled “It’s Time to Open the Black Boxes”. This work will be presented in the much-anticipated group exhibition “Do Electric Sheep Dream? The Human Condition in the Era of Artificial Intelligence”, curated by Dimitris Trikas.
An exhibition that promises to provoke thoughts, stir emotions, and perhaps… open the black boxes of our technological age.
